Water Filtration

I notice Planned Parenthood and Pur have teamed up to give away free water filters. These water filters are not only inadequate, but they are also cost prohibitive for some people to use. It costs about $10 to replace a filter every 2 months and that is a lot to people who don't even make enough to pay all the bills. The good news is that filtering water can be cheaper and simpler than those messy little filters. Making a water filter is sort of like building a fire, you start with a paper or cloth then choose materials of increasing size on top. It may seem inconvenient, but some water can be very dirty, so it may be necessary to run it through the filter more than once.
