The Americium Way
The idea of electron desire or neutrons wanting to be close to electrons could explain why matter such as Americium emits radiation and possibly be used to increase voltage in circuits. Old smoke detectors could, in theory, be rewired to give batteries a bit more of a charge on the negative electrode.
