Farm Friendly Communities for Idaho.

Idaho is having a huge problem with food independence. We bring in preserved food from other places, this not not only causes health problems for our children but it also puts them at an extreme economic disadvantage. Idaho's children have a hard time finding good jobs and purchasing land. We regularly deal with irritating immigrants from other state buying up land and enforcing laws that simply don't make sense for Idaho. Idaho's rough winters create economic challenges for residence who must work around seasonal issues, and inflation. The land in other states has become depleted and they will soon need to take advantage of Idaho's rich soil. The dust bowl was not a football game and this once plentiful food supply is not sustainable because it has failed to address the environmental symbiotic needs of plants, animals and people. Idaho must prepare to become a leader in the food market, but lack of opportunity is a huge problem. Too many people are being pushed into situation where they are dependent on outside food.

Idaho's limited population makes it the ideal place to create a better food infrastructure where animals and plant can interact rather than being crowded into unbalanced diseased environments. Farm friendly communities could bypass the out of state laws and taxes that keep Idahoans dependent. We should create communities that recognise the basic human need for food, as a priority, rather than citing people for having too many animals or too much stuff in their yards. Plant and animal sharing could significantly reduce our need for out of state food will creating strong communities. Commercial zoning makes taxes cost prohibitive and residential zoning has so many rules it often prevents food production and meaningful work from being done.

Idaho is an open range state, we can put up cattle guards and let the animals have the right away. People who feel the need to live in sterile poop free communities can go back to where they came from, we like to have our animals and junk and we don't like being fined for using our own property.
