The dead sea would make an excellent place for a molecular machine lab, but stays should be limited due to the high radiation level and health problems related to halides exposure, what is there should be kept there, with safe food and water shipped in for residence.
We should make the area green, have snakes to keep the bugs down, and use the variety of chemicals for molecular machines.
