Mulch Happens

Surprisingly blocking off a plants ability to collect light from the sun can actually be simpler than altering the chemical composition of the soil or spraying leaves with chemicals to block out, plants ability to produce chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is the substance that gives plants their green color or in the case of plants exposed to mutagenic defoliants, a mutation in the genes often produces yellow or red leaves. The convergent evolution of these plants can be seen along roadways, field edgings and in other places commonly sprayed with defoliants such as round-up.

Mulch happens, almost anything can become mulch, I interviewed mulch expert plank about this, "I'm so board, I think I will lay down" What does this mean for round-up marketers selling a less effective plant irritant? Time for a re-branding, quick mutate, plant mutater can give selective breeders the chance to control evolution first hand as they always have, but much faster. Also with ISU's great communications teachers who can often be heard over the lawn mower, ISU has students who can get lots of grant money from the Monsanto fund or other grant writers to study how the mutagen affects a variety of plants and make dosage recommendation for various species.

Sure those using these product should use precautions, but this would be a lot safer than adding chemicals directly to our food and water and spraying peoples gardens with round up. I note the genetic changes seem to be lasting for generations. So our pathways can be growing with fairly safe food, much like the food Jesus used to feed the people, when he guided people through the Jeasement across spance onto the promised land...

Also make sure your city government, road crews, and forest service, know about the benefits of mulching instead of destroying, great grandmothers gardens and our natural forest land with round-up and other defoliants.

Mulch happens even faster than compost, so please feel free to stop by over at compost happens and ask for a low cost mulch. Now you can selectively bread plants and be a Stuart of the Earth instead of dying from cancer caused by drinking the the toxic waste water. Also feel free to donate a chipper or request the city purchase one to deal with branches and tree limbs...Or maybe a heard of goats goats are good, spraying round up on other peoples gardens is bad...

"COMPOST HAPPENS compost is available for purchase at the Bannock County Landfill Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $35/ton"
