Kim Davis

Kim Davis has gone to jail for refusing to issue a marriage license. This seems to be a violation of both her rights and the rights of the public. First of all everyone has the right to access public services such as marriage licenses, and anyone who would deny someone that right based on their gender, just is not qualified for a job providing that service. This is not a crime simply a frailer or refusal to do a job. If a person can not or will not do their job, than the logical solution is to fire them. Why are we wasting money imprisoning someone simply because they don't want to do their job? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just put her on welfare?
