The True Value Of Money

The gold standard is inhibiting our economy, value does not exist in gold, it is in quality of life, it is in people leading long healthy lives. It is justified to create more money for high quality public services, but printing money for the purpose of lending is wasteful and counterproductive. We need to bring back drinking fountains and increase the value of workers by providing them with no cost high quality, food, water electricity, internet access and safe places to sleep. These things are important because they increase the value of labor.
